THE ORIGIN
Born from adversity. Forged with metal.
David García founded Forjados García S.R.L. in 1987 with a simple conviction: that honest work, executed with precision, leaves a mark that time cannot erase.
Before founding the company, David faced circumstances that would have stopped many. Instead of giving up, he found in metalwork a discipline that demanded exactness, patience and character — qualities he already carried within.
THE INSPIRATION
"The National Theatre taught me that metal can be eternal when worked with respect."
— David García, Founder
David's admiration for Costa Rica's architectural heritage — and in particular for the ornamental ironwork of the National Theatre — shaped his vision of the craft. Not as industry, but as artisanship in service of architecture.
That influence is reflected in every piece that leaves the workshop: attention to detail, respect for proportions, the conviction that what is made must last generations.

Today his vision lives on in every project, every decision and every work that bears the name Forjados García. His legacy remains alive in the family, in the team and in the commitment to excellence he inspired from the very first day.
SECOND GENERATION
The legacy transforms.
Mariela Aguilar García grew up surrounded by the sound of metal and the smell of the workshop. She studied, travelled, and observed how the world's finest manufacturing houses combined tradition with innovation.
Today she leads the company with a vision that honours the founder's principles and projects them into the future: new materials, new technologies, the same immovable standards.

PHILOSOPHY
WE FORGE LEGACIES.
We do not make doors or gates. We make architectural pieces that become part of the history of a place. That children inherit from their parents. That architects remember decades later.
Forging legacies means that every project we accept carries the weight of that responsibility. We do not seek volume. We seek permanence.
That is why we continue to fabricate by hand. Why we do not subcontract what matters. Why every piece leaves the workshop bearing the family name.
PRECISION
Every millimetre matters. Every angle has intention.
PERMANENCE
We build for generations, not for seasons.
CHARACTER
Honest work needs no advertising. It speaks for itself.
FAMILY
Two generations. One signature. One responsibility.
IN MEMORIAM
Always Present
There are people whose presence transcends generations.
Her love, her faith and her way of caring for those around her continue to live in our family.
This is a small tribute to a woman who left an indelible mark on our hearts.
